Gender Equality and Women in Fisheries
By 2009, SEAFISH has enriched its internal unities with specific analysis on gender positions within artisanal fisheries, the consequences of present neoliberal policies on these positions, and with specific measures and steps proposed by the network for a more equal gender balance taken into account in fishery trade, aquaculture and CBCRM that will used to strengthen campaigning messages towards the ASEAN, WTO and ADB as well as to strengthen present practices and policies on gender mainstreaming of individual SEAFISH members
