Shrimp Aquaculture Campaign
SEAFish Campaign against the expansion of industrial shrimp aquaculture is now being prepared by the network.
This April 2008, Southeast Asian fishers and NGOs will meet in Jogjakarta, Indonesia to discuss country issues concerning shrimp aquaculture and lay down their plans on how to address negative impacts of irresponsible aquaculture practices especially in shrimp aquaculture.
During the observance of the International Earth on April 22, 2008, SEAFish may hold a soft launching of its campaign on Shrimp Aquaculture. This will also take place in Bantul, Jogjakarta, Indonesia.
